For our lessons we recommend:

• A 4–6 ft non-retractable leash
• 50–100 pea-sized treats — a mix of mid-value treats and high-value foods like cheese or chicken for our initial lessons
• Either a flat collar or a harness with a front attachment (if you need to borrow one, let us know prior to your appointment)
• A hip pouch to keep your treats in — handy, but not a requirement at all
• Make sure your pup is pottied and ready to go prior to the lesson

When can we start? Puppies can start at 8–10 weeks of age.

Vaccinations:

• Puppies under 16 weeks of age are required to have: 2 doses of parvovirus and distemper, and 1 dose of bordetella.
• Puppies over 16 weeks old need to be current on parvovirus, distemper, rabies, and bordetella.

At this time Focused Fido does not offer board and train. However, we do offer Day Training — at your home or out on a field trip.

We also provide Stay 'n Train days for puppies 6 months and under, or dogs under 50 lbs. We provide pick-up and drop-off each day; hours and days available vary.

We come to you! Private lessons are held in the comfort of your home — or wherever the behavior is happening, such as the park, your neighborhood, or public places. We also offer virtual sessions and rotating meet-up locations.
